Carrey continues to dump on Trump.
One of the best things about the Trump presidency is the fact that Jim Carrey keeps trolling the president with artwork. The legendary comedian, actor, and artist has been posting his pieces online for the last year, depicting his picture of the current administration. In case you missed it, this week marked an important victory for Trump opposers. The president's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to five counts of tax evasion, one count of making an excessive campaign contribution, and several other financially motivated charges. He could receive 65 years in prison if convicted of all charges, but since Cohen took a plea deal, he's more likely to serve only a few years. His plea deal is dependent on him giving up a mountain of evidence on Trump when it comes to Stormy Daniels, the payoff, and the Russians. Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was found guilty on eight counts of financial crimes, and can be sentenced to a maximum of 80 years in prison.
Carrey posted his latest piece of art on Twitter, where he references the Cohen and Manafort guilty verdicts. "Manafort, GUILTY! Cohen, GUILTY!" wrote Carrey under his artwork, which depicts Trump hanging by his heels with an America flag wrapped around his ankles. "Flynn, Guilty! Gates, Guilty! What’s happening to All the Best People?" Carrey sarcastically joked, mocking Trump's speeches during his presidential run promising to bring in the best people.
