YT News confirmed that on June 7th, Young Money artist Baby E was arrested and charged with the “sale of narcotics” by the Los Angeles Police Department. The charges are EXTREMELY serious, and if convicted he may face 20 years in prison.
Baby E's management team are FIGHTING BACK against the charges. They have took to his social media to post his mugshot photo and reveal what exactly happened:
"A SWAT team surrounded his residence and proceeded to enter via battering ram. A warrant was served during his arrest and after gathering evidence he was taken into custody. He is currently out on bail and awaiting trial. We will keep the fans updated and just ask for well wishes, good energy, and patience. He will still be dropping music and shooting videos as we f!ght the case but this incident obviously makes the process harder. E would just like to thank the fans/supporters for standing by him during a hard time and let them know he will be handling this situation with his head high. Tribe27. Thank You."

Baby E, born Ethan Lowry, signed to Young Money in 2015 behind the strength of his single “Finessin,” a traditional pop song which wouldn’t seem out of place in Justin Bieber’s catalogue. He dropped his debut mixtape, Girlfriend Material, in 2011 and signed a publishing deal with Dr. Luke where he began writing songs for Juicy J., Pitbull, Miley Cyrus, and other top recording artists, prior to the Young Money deal. He’s currently working on his debut album and first official project for Young Money while still writing songs for Dr. Luke associated artists.
