For Heidi Klum being nude is normal.
The German stunner, 45, discussed her childhood for the new issue of Ocean Drive magazine in the US, noting how her parents would take her on nudist vacations when she was a kid.
“I grew up in a very free environment with my parents, we’d go to nude beaches,” Klum told the magazine. We’re very openminded, but you can’t say that about all Germans,” added the America’s Got Talent judge, who is featured in the magazine’s 25th Anniversary Swimsuit Issue, where she goes topless for the cover.
“We didn’t have a lot of money so we’d go camping a lot and my parents chose nude campsites, so nudity became normal for me. You stand out a lot more if you cover up. And I loved it.” The Project Runway star has just launched a line of swimwear, which led her to describe her minimalistic tastes when it comes to beach fashion.
“I tend to not wear a whole lot of swimsuit when I am sunbathing,” said the Germany's Next Topmodel host. “I usually go for a tie-string bikini, something that has less coverage, and if no one is around, I’ll wear only the bottom.
I grew up being very comfortable with my body and very free.
